Most roofing contractors are interested in two things: (1) installing the cheapest possible roof on your home, and (2) maximizing the profits they can make from your insurance company. At Quality Exterior Services, we want to be known for the “QUALITY” of our work, not the “QUANTITY” of our work. There may be a few roofing companies that are larger than us, but there are no companies that do better quality work than us.
Once you’ve been educated on the features of a true “QUALITY” roof, you’ll be able to pick out our homes simply by driving down the street. You’ll be amazed by how many of your neighbors settled for something less than a “QUALITY” roof. Some of our signature features that are included in all of our homes include:
- Upgraded roofing products. There was a day not too long ago, when most homes used a standard 3-tab shingle. Today, there is a wide range of styles, materials and colors to choose from. Don’t just settle for the same shingle as everyone else on the block. This is your opportunity to create a home of distinction and to raise the perceived value of your home by installing a quality, distinctive look on your home.
- Open “W” Metal Valley Systems. As you drive down the street, maybe 1 out of 100 homes will have Open “W” Metal Valley Systems installed. Yet this is a standard part of every installation we do. These W-shaped pieces of metal are installed in the valleys of your roof in order to reduce the amount of water and debris that stays on your roof. However, these specialized valleys also create “lines of distinction” which help outline the architectural design of your home. You’ll notice that your roof has a cleaner, more well-defined look than the homes next door.
- Enhanced Ridge Rows. This is another one of the subtle features that can enhance the overall look of your home. By installing specialized shingle applications on the ridges of your roof, we can create more well-defined architectural lines on your home. Most people won’t even notice the difference, they’ll just think you have a beautiful home.
- Quality ventilation systems. By selecting the proper ventilation products for your home, we can increase the energy efficiency of your home and minimize your monthly utility bills. There are a number of quality ventilation systems to choose from including ridge vents, powered turbines, soffit vents, low-profile vents, etc. However, each of these need to be matched with the overall structural and ventilation design of your home. Most contractors will not even bother to tell you about these options, yet this is a standard part of our design and installation.
- “Weather Guard” flashings. One of the most common areas where leaks occur is around chimneys, skylights, vent pipes, wall flashings and roof edges. This is why we install “Weather Guard” self-adhering membranes around all these areas. When combined with our baked-on enamel finished galvalume pans and step flashings, we can guarantee a water-tight seal around all these potential problem areas.
- Designed color and pattern selections. Making the right color and pattern selections can either make your home look like a million dollars or totally distract from the beauty of your home. By following some basic design principles, we can assure that our designs will make a dramatic difference in the curb appeal of your home. Our designed color and pattern selections include color-coded shingles, W-metal valleys, drip edge, gutters, flashings and vents.
Minimizing Your Out of Pocket Expenses
A logical question that most customers ask is “How much is all this going to cost?”. As a result of our ability to negotiate directly with your insurance adjuster, we are often able to include many or all of these wonderful features in your installation with very few out of pocket expenses being passed on to you.
