The Better Business Bureau of Central Louisiana is a non-profit membership association of business and professional firms. It is a public service agency devoted to the protection of the buying public and to the vitality of the free enterprise system. The Better Business Bureau is professionally managed and maintains a full time staff of employees. Although affiliated with the Council of Better Business Bureaus in Washington D.C., the Bureau is governed by the local businessmen and women who serve as members of its Board of Directors. The Better Business Bureau provides its services without charge to the public while providing their members with special services to assist them in operating their businesses.

This chapter is invaluable in its ongoing education of business codes, business development, products, subcontractor issues, installation and technology introductions. The management of this organization is an impressive network of some of the most progressive roofing companies in the Nation. This organization provides seminars in order to educate roofing companies about issues such as insurance discounts and important federal tax laws. The NRCA also keeps us abreast of all the latest changes in federal law and policies, as well as OSHA responsibilities and tax changes.
